Healing Instructions
DO NOT LET YOUR LIPS DRY OUT! Keep them moist at all times using Aquaphor or Vaseline only.
Your lip blush is a healing tattoo. You will lose 30–40% of the color during the healing window — don’t panic. Dry lips are the #1 reason for poor retention, so moisture is everything.
During healing, the ONLY things that should touch the area:
✔ Aquaphor or Vaseline
✔ The soap we provided
✔ Water (sparingly — use a straw)
No spicy, oily, or salty foods · No kissing · No makeup for 1–2 weeks

I know it’s hard to remember everything, so I’m going to break this down the exact same way I do in the studio 👇

Step One · Keep Them Moist
Blot Gently If Needed
If your lips feel wet from lymph fluid, gently dab them with a clean paper towel. You can also use an ice pack (wrapped in a paper towel) if they feel tender or swollen.

Step Two · After 2 Hours
Start Applying Ointment
After about 2 hours, start applying ointment or Aquaphor. Apply multiple times a day — the goal is to never let your lips dry out. Moist lips are happy lips 💋
KEEP THEM MOIST — DO NOT LET THEM DRY OUT

Step Three · Protect The Color
No Picking · Keep Them Dry
Avoid picking at any scabs or flakes — let them come off on their own. Try to keep your lips as dry as possible from water and sweat.

Step Four · For 1–2 Weeks
Diet & Lifestyle Rules
Avoid spicy, oily, or salty foods. No kissing, no hanky panky (lol), and no makeup for 1–2 weeks. Use a straw when drinking to prevent irritation.
