Chare'e is the founder of The Brow Babes and has been performing and teaching permanent makeup since 2016. With thousands of procedures performed, 500+ five-star reviews, multiple Best of Louisville awards, and nearly a decade in the beauty industry, she has built her training program around one simple belief:
Success in PMU requires more than learning how to tattoo.
Students receive hands-on training in brow artistry while also gaining real-world insight into client communication, content creation, photography, marketing, social media, pricing, policies, and the behind-the-scenes systems that help build a successful beauty business.
This isn't just a tattoo class. It's an inside look at what it actually takes to turn your skills into a career.

Confidence In The Fundamentals
Students leave with a strong foundation, realistic expectations, and the knowledge needed to continue growing their skills safely and confidently.
While no 4-day class can prepare someone to take on the world overnight, our goal is to give you the confidence to understand the fundamentals, avoid common mistakes, and continue building your skills with ongoing support long after class ends.
The Philosophy
Why we teach brows first.
Brows Are the Foundation
Every advanced technique builds on brow fundamentals. Skipping this foundation creates gaps that show up in client work.
One Modality Done Right
Mastery over multiple mediocre skills. Students who specialize build confidence and clientele faster.
Advanced Training Requires Experience
Lips, eyeliner, and other modalities are more complex. They require a solid base — brows give you that base.
Client Safety Comes First
We train artists to prioritize healthy, healed results above speed or ambition. That starts with learning it right.

Training breakdown.
Foundation & Theory
Color theory, skin theory, safety, sanitation, and the fundamentals of PMU. You'll leave Day 1 understanding why, not just how.
Mapping & Machine Work
Brow mapping, measuring, shaping, and machine technique. Extended latex practice to build muscle memory before touching a model.
Hands-On Practice
Supervised work on additional latex and your first model session. Feedback, adjustments, and building real confidence with the machine.
Live Models
Full procedure on a live model from consultation through final result. Chare'e mentors you through the entire process in real time.
Student Success
Students are succeeding.
These are results from students — not from Chare'e. The goal of training is for you to produce work you're proud of before you leave.
Questions
Training FAQs.
Do I need experience?
No prior PMU experience is required. This training is designed to take you from zero — through theory, latex practice, and live models — to a finished procedure by Day 4. What you do need is commitment, a willingness to learn, and patience with yourself.
Is this beginner friendly?
Yes. The curriculum starts with fundamentals and builds progressively through the four days. Chare'e teaches in a hands-on, mentorship style — not a lecture format. You'll have direct access to guidance throughout every session.
Will I work on live models?
Yes. Live model work is included in the training — you'll perform a full procedure on a live model by Day 4, with Chare'e mentoring you through every step. Prior to live model work, you'll spend significant time on latex to build the technique and confidence to do it right.
What machine do you recommend?
We'll discuss machine recommendations during training — what Chare'e uses, what she recommends for new artists, and what to avoid. Every student has different needs and budget, and we'll help you find the right fit for where you're starting.
Do you offer mentorship after class?
Yes. Ongoing mentorship is included. After training, you have access to Chare'e for questions, client photo reviews, and guidance as you start building your practice. You won't be left on your own the moment training ends.
How long is training?
Training is 4 days. Day 1 and 2 are primarily theory and latex practice. Days 3 and 4 move into supervised hands-on work and live model sessions. The pacing is intentional — rushing through brow fundamentals is how students get into trouble.
Why do you only teach brows first?
Because brows are the foundation of everything in PMU. Every modality that follows — lips, eyeliner, SMP — builds on the skills, muscle memory, and client management principles you develop by learning brows properly. Artists who skip brows and try to jump straight to advanced techniques consistently struggle. We teach in the order that produces the best long-term results for students and their clients.
