Healing Instructions
Do NOT get your eyes wet for the first 24 hours, and no soap or cleansing products around your eyes for 48 hours.
Your eyeliner is a healing tattoo. It takes a full 6 weeks for it to properly settle. Keeping the area dry and protected during the first few days is the single most important thing you can do.
During healing, the ONLY things that should touch the area:
✔ The ointment we provided
✔ The soap we provided (after 48 hrs)
✔ Cool compress wrapped in paper towel
No contacts for 48 hrs · No pools, sauna, sweating, or tanning while healing

I know it’s hard to remember everything, so I’m going to break this down the exact same way I do in the studio 👇

Step One · Right After
Blot Gently If Your Eyes Are Leaking
If your eyes are leaking, gently blot them with a clean paper towel. If they feel swollen or uncomfortable, you can use an ice pack — as long as it’s wrapped in a paper towel.

Step Two · Thin Layer Only
Apply Ointment Twice Daily
Apply a very thin layer of ointment 2× per day for 5–7 days — longer if they still feel tight or dry.

Step Three · First 24–48 Hours
Keep Your Eyes Dry
Do not get your eyes wet for the first 24 hours. Do not use soap or cleansing products around your eyes for the first 48 hours.

Step Four · After 48 Hours
Gentle Cleansing
After 48 hours, you may gently wash your eyes using the soap we provided. Pat dry with a clean paper towel — never rub.

Step Five · While Healing
What To Avoid
Do not wear contact lenses for at least 48 hours. Avoid pools, sauna, sweating, and tanning during the full healing window.
