Everything You Need To Know Before Your Procedure

Here are a few FAQ’s that will help you through the booking process. Please read through carefully prior to booking your appointment. We try to be as transparent as possible with our clients & we want you informed.
Due to the limited clients we are able to see per day we follow a strict and enforced 72 hour cancellation and reschedule policy.

Booking, Cancellation & Reschedule Policy

Permanent makeup is a time-intensive service. When you book, a designated block of time is reserved just for you. Because of this, we take our scheduling policies very seriously — it’s how we protect our time, cover expenses, and keep things fair for everyone.


1. Booking Fees
A non-refundable booking fee of $50–$100 is required to reserve your appointment.
If you were not charged a booking fee, your card on file will automatically be charged $100 to confirm your spot.

Booking fees are transferable but non-refundable.
Once payment information is submitted, no refunds will be issued.
All booking fees must be used within 18 months. Gift cards must be used within 12 months.
If you cancel or reschedule after the 72-hour mark, your original booking fee will be forfeited and considered payment for the missed appointment.

If your booking fee was waived as a promotion or incentive:
Should you choose to cancel without rescheduling, the waived amount will still be charged to the card on file.
This is because the appointment was booked free of charge under the good-faith assumption that you would complete your service.

Example:
If you booked a new brow visit and the $106 booking fee was waived, and you choose to cancel, you will be charged $106.
If you booked a brow and lip combo (or any combo service) where two booking fees were waived, you will be charged $212 if you cancel without rescheduling.


2. Cancellation & Reschedule Window
A minimum of 72 hours (3 business days) notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
You will receive three appointment reminders:
• Confirmation email immediately upon booking
• Seven days before your appointment
• Seventy-two hours before your appointment

If you cancel or reschedule after the 72-hour mark, your booking fee will be forfeited and considered payment for the missed appointment. A new booking fee must be paid to secure a new date.


3. Late Cancellations & Fees
Before 72 hours: Free
72 hours: $50
48 hours: $75
24 hours: $100 per service
Same-day cancellation: Full amount due
Same-day reschedule: Half of the total owed, plus a rebooking fee ($106 for new sessions, $53 for touch-up/annual sessions)

Note: Cancellations on Mondays, Saturdays, or Sundays do not count as business days.


4. No-Show Policy
No-call, no-shows will forfeit their entire booking fee and be charged half of the total service cost for that day.
To rebook, a $100 rebooking fee will be required, and the remaining balance from the missed session must still be paid.
Touch-up sessions will remain owed in full.


5. Reschedule Limit
You may reschedule one time per service at no cost, as long as notice is given four or more days in advance.
After two reschedules, an additional $100 booking fee will be required.
We understand that life happens — exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.


6. Business Day Clarification
Reschedules must be requested on business days only.
The studio is closed on Tuesdays and Sundays, and these days do not count toward the 72-hour notice period.

Example:
If your appointment is scheduled for Friday, the 72-hour mark would be Tuesday.
Any reschedule request made after this point would incur a rescheduling fee.


7. Touch-Up Policy
6–8-week touch-ups are not included in the cost of the initial session.
Touch-ups must be completed within 6–8 weeks to qualify; anything later will fall under Color Boost or annual pricing.


8. Guest Policy
For everyone’s safety and comfort, no guests are allowed in the procedure room unless prior permission is granted.
This ensures the artist can focus entirely on you without distraction.
Only female guests may be approved, and only when the schedule allows.
Male guests (husbands, boyfriends, etc.) are not permitted.
We maintain a calm, female-friendly, and private environment for all clients.


9. Phone Policy
Please silence your phone during your service.
Movement or distraction during tattooing can impact your results.
You’ll have time for breaks if needed, but staying still allows for the best possible healed outcome.


10. Financing & Refunds
There are zero refunds for financed sessions.
If you pay in full but no-show or reschedule outside our policy window, your payment will be forfeited for that time slot.
All exceptions are at the owner’s discretion.


11. Weather & Emergency Closures
In the event of city, state, or federally mandated closures, refunds or chargebacks are not available.
Appointments will be rescheduled at the artist’s discretion.
If JCPS closes for inclement weather, the studio may also close, though notice will always be provided.
As a small business, we prioritize honoring all scheduled appointments. Cancellations on our part occur only under exceptional circumstances such as illness, family emergencies, natural disasters, or mandated shutdowns. These cancellations do not entitle clients to a refund, as outlined in our policy.

                               Installment Plans for Services

This is SUPER IMPORTANT – your money is involved, so please read carefully.

In the realm of beauty services, the concept of installment plans or in-house financing can sometimes be a bit confusing. As a brow artist, I believe it’s essential to provide clarity on how these plans work, ensuring transparency and understanding for my valued clients.

Here’s a breakdown of how our installment plans function:

  • Total Amount Due: Whether you pay upfront or opt for our installment plan, the total amount due for your service remains the same. For instance, if your brow service is priced at $477, that will be the total cost regardless of your payment plan choice. (Please Note: Tax must be charged on every card swipe)

  • Booking Fee: To reserve your appointment, we require a non-refundable booking fee, payable at the time of booking. This fee ensures your slot is secured. This includes waived booking fee’s as well

  • First Installment: On the day of your first session, you will need to make your first installment payment. This payment allows you to begin your brow transformation without the burden of paying the full service fee upfront.

  • Second Installment: The second installment is due when you come back for your touch-up session. Even if you don’t require or choose not to get a touch-up, this second installment is still due as part of the total service price. It is not a separate charge for the touch-up but rather part of the overall service fee.

Why Choose Installment Plans?

Unlike many other artists who require full payment upfront, we offer installment plans to make it easier for you to invest in yourself. Our plans break the total cost into manageable payments, providing flexibility in your beauty budget.

Important Note: The installment plan allows you to spread out payments, but you are not paying for the touch-up separately. The total price of your service includes both the initial session and the touch-up. There are no hidden fees or extra charges.


Annual Color Boost Incentive
If you follow all aftercare instructions diligently and your brows do not require a touch-up, you are eligible for a $50-$75 discount on your annual color boost, which is typically scheduled 12-18 months after your initial service. This discount is our way of rewarding you for maintaining the health and appearance of your brows.

illness Policies

Illness & Health Policy

Your health — and ours — always comes first.
Because we work in close proximity for several hours at a time, it’s essential that both clients and artists stay mindful of illness and hygiene. The following policies help protect everyone in the studio and keep our schedule fair and consistent.


1. Sickness & Reschedule Policy
Our 72-hour reschedule policy will be waived in the event of genuine illness for you or an immediate family member.
This includes contagious conditions such as the flu, strep throat, stomach viruses, COVID-19, or any illness that would normally require you to stay home from work or school.

Proof of illness may be required (e.g., doctor’s note, positive test result, or appointment summary) before rescheduling at no cost.

Sick means sick.
Not tired.
Not hungover.
Not “recovering from vacation.”
Not because it’s raining and you don’t want to leave the house.

If you’re coughing, congested, feverish, have a sore throat, vomiting, or any flu-like symptoms, please call or text us immediately so we can move your appointment safely.


2. No-Call / No-Show
If you no-call or no-show for any reason, your entire booking fee will be forfeited, and ½ of your service total will be charged for the missed time.
To rebook, you’ll be required to pay an additional $100 rebooking fee plus the remaining ½ of your original session total.
Your touch-up appointment will still be owed as normal.


3. Contagious Illness Disclosure
If you test positive or are diagnosed with a contagious illness (including flu, COVID, strep, RSV, or stomach virus) within 14 days of your appointment, you must notify The Brow Babes immediately.
We’ll reschedule you once you’ve been symptom-free for at least 48 hours.


4. Failure to Disclose Illness
If you knowingly attend your appointment while sick or contagious, you’ll be held financially responsible for any resulting loss of income due to staff illness, cancellations, or studio closure caused by your decision.
We take the health of our artists and clients seriously — please be honest and considerate.


5. Late Illness Notice
If you’ve been unwell for days, please don’t wait until the same day to reach out.
Same-day illness notices after several days of symptoms still fall under our rescheduling fee policy.
We appreciate honest communication — it helps us plan our day and stay fair to all clients.


6. Financing & Cancellations Due to Illness
If your session is financed and you no-show or cancel after the 72-hour mark, a $100 rebooking fee per session will still apply before rescheduling.
All financing policies and remaining balances remain in effect as outlined in your payment agreement.
