What to Avoid Before You Come In
- ✕ No alcohol
- ✕ No excessive caffeine
- ✕ Avoid excessive sweating
- ✕ No fish oil
- ✕ No blood-thinning supplements
- ✕ No chemical peels
- ✕ No brow tinting
- ✕ No waxing
- ✕ No threading
Avoid active serums:
- ✕ Retinol / Tretinoin
- ✕ Vitamin C
- ✕ AHA / BHA acids
- ✕ Exfoliants
Service-Specific Prep
Additional Rules by Service
- Start L-Lysine (antiviral supplement)
- Arrive with healthy, moisturized lips
- Exfoliate your lips with a gentle sugar scrub leading up to your appointment
- Keep your lips hydrated — happy lips heal better!
- If you have a history of cold sores or fever blisters, please contact your doctor and request an antiviral prescription such as Valtrex (Valacyclovir) or Acyclovir. We recommend starting your medication 7–10 days before your appointment to help reduce the risk of an outbreak.
- No active cold sores at the time of your appointment
- No lip filler within 3–4 weeks of your appointment
- Arrive with your natural brow style
- You may fill your brows in if that's how you normally wear them
- No waxing before your appointment
- No tinting, threading, or lamination within 7 days
- Arrive with clean eyes
- Bring your glasses if you normally wear them
- No contact lenses during your appointment
- No lash growth serums for at least 4 weeks before your appointment
- No active eye infections, styes, or irritation
- If you normally wear makeup, please bring your foundation, concealer, blush, and lip color to reapply after your appointment for photos.
- Remember, your before-and-after photos may be featured on our website and social media.
- Please leave bonnets, sleep caps, bandanas, scarves, and overnight hair wraps at home.
- Please avoid arriving in pajamas or "just rolled out of bed" attire.
We don't expect full glam, but we do encourage clients to arrive looking polished and photo-ready so we can capture beautiful before-and-after photos you'll love.
