Before you book.
These four things cause the most issues for new clients. Knowing them upfront saves everyone time.
Previous PMU? Send a Photo Before Booking
If you have existing permanent makeup, text us a photo before booking. We review all previous work before confirming correction or cover-up appointments.
Booking Fees Are Non-Refundable
A $50–$100 booking fee is required to hold your appointment. This fee is non-refundable and will be applied to your service total.

Rescheduling and cancellations carry separate fees. Please read the full policy below before booking so there are no surprises.
Forms Must Be Completed
Consent forms are sent via email when you book. They must be completed before your appointment — not when you arrive.

Please text us when you arrive. Plan to come upstairs at your scheduled time — no more than 5 minutes early.
Complete Required Forms
Your consent form must be done before you come in. We'll send it via email when you book.
Follow Pre-Care Instructions
Pre-care directly affects your results. If you haven't followed it, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Send PMU Photos Before Booking
If you have existing PMU, text us a photo before booking. Do not wait until your appointment.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
Know the fees before you reschedule or cancel.
Permanent makeup appointments are long, time-intensive services. When you book, that block of time is reserved exclusively for you — which is why last-minute changes carry fees.
Rescheduling Policy
First Reschedule (72+ Hours)
Complimentary
One free reschedule with 72+ hours notice, provided the new appointment is scheduled within 8 weeks.
72+ Hours Notice
$50
Rescheduling fee applies. Fees are separate from the service balance.
48 Hours Notice
$75
Rescheduling fee applies. Fees are separate from the service balance.
24 Hours Notice
$100
Rescheduling fee applies. Fees are separate from the service balance.
Same-Day (Initial Appt)
50% + $100
50% of remaining balance due, plus a $100 rebooking fee.
Same-Day (Perfecting / Boost)
50% + $50
50% of remaining balance due, plus a $50 rebooking fee.
Rescheduling fees are separate from the service balance and are not applied toward the amount owed for the appointment. They are transferable.
Cancellation Policy
Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
More Than 72 Hours
Booking Fee Lost
Booking fee is forfeited. If booking fee was waived during a promotion, the standard booking fee becomes due.
72–24 Hours Notice
Booking Fee Lost
Booking fee is forfeited. If booking fee was waived, it becomes due upon cancellation.
Same-Day / No-Show
Full Amount Due
Full service amount is due. This time cannot be filled on short notice.
A waived booking fee is a courtesy extended to clients who complete their appointment. If the appointment is canceled, the waived booking fee becomes due just as it would have been at the time of booking.
Correction & Cover-Up Work
Previous work policy.
This is one of the most common sources of confusion in PMU — please read this section carefully if you have existing permanent makeup from another artist.
- Text us a photo of your existing PMU before booking. We review all previous work before confirming correction or cover-up appointments.
- All existing permanent makeup must be reviewed and approved by your artist before your appointment is confirmed.
- Booking under the wrong service category (e.g., booking a new client appointment when you have existing PMU) may result in rescheduling and applicable fees.
- Previous work from another artist cannot always be covered or corrected in a single session — results depend on the pigment, depth, and color already in your skin.

Guests & children.
- The procedure room is reserved for the scheduled client only.
- No children, toddlers, or babies during appointments — per Kentucky state law and studio policy.
- No husbands or boyfriends in the procedure room. The Brow Babes is designed as a calm, female-friendly space.
- Female friends or family members may sometimes join if the schedule allows — just ask! We're usually happy to say yes.
- Extra people in the room create distraction that affects your artist's precision and your results.
Appointment Day
Day-of checklist.
✓ Arrive on time
No more than 10 minutes before your appointment. More than 10 minutes late may result in cancellation with full fee.
✓ Complete your forms
Paperwork should already be done — sent via email when you booked. If you haven't done it, complete it before arriving.
✓ Follow pre-care instructions
Skipping pre-care can compromise your results. If pre-care hasn't been followed, let us know before you come in.
✓ Keep your ringer off
No loud calls or videos during your appointment. This is your focused time — and your artist's.
✓ Notify us of any changes
New medications, skin conditions, illness, or medical changes since booking? Text us ahead so we can advise.

Directions to the studio.
We're at 1448 Gardiner Lane, Suite 103, Louisville, KY 40213 — upstairs, look for the pink door.
From Poplar Level Road: turn into the 1448 Gardiner Lane Offices parking lot — KFC Yum! will be on your left.
From Newburg Road: turn onto Bishop Lane, go straight through the stop sign (Cross Jeep on your right), then turn into 1448 Gardiner Lane — KFC Yum! will be on your right.
Please text us when you arrive. Unless instructed otherwise, please plan to come upstairs at your scheduled appointment time and no more than 5 minutes early. If you require any special accommodations, please let us know before your appointment — we are a small boutique studio and providing advance notice allows us to make any necessary arrangements.
