Everything You Need To Know Before Your Visit
Permanent makeup requires intense focus and precision. Extra movement, conversation, or outside energy — even when well-intentioned — can easily distract both you and your artist. Our goal is to maintain a calm, focused environment so your artist can give you their full attention and deliver the best possible results.
P.S. You can always ask if your bestie or a female family member can come along — if our schedule isn’t too hectic that day, we’re usually happy to allow it. However, we don’t allow boyfriends or husbands to hang out during appointments. The Brow Babes studio is designed to be a comfortable, empowering, and female-friendly space for everyone who walks through our doors. ✨
This is a tattoo shop, even though the vibes speak otherwise! We must kindly ask that you do not bring them with you to youra appointment. Unfortunately,
they are a distraction to the artist, as well as the other guests having services in the studio.
Thank you for your understanding.
Permanent makeup is a time-intensive service, and when you book, we reserve a specific block of time just for you. A non-refundable booking fee of $50–$100 is required to hold your appointment.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 72 hours’ notice so that we may offer your time slot to another client.
Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice, or no-shows, will be charged the full price of the scheduled service. To remain an active client and rebook, your service must be paid in full prior to scheduling another appointment.
Please take a moment to thoroughly read the consent form and studio policies sent via email when you book. We take these policies very seriously — not out of strictness, but out of fairness. This business is how I support my family, pay tuition, and keep The Brow Babes running strong.
Your understanding, communication, and respect for our time mean the world to us — and allow us to serve every client with the same care and professionalism you’ve come to expect. 🖤
All permanent makeup services are a two-step process, designed to ensure your healed results are beautiful, balanced, and long-lasting.
Your initial session lays the foundation for shape, symmetry, and color. Your follow-up (touch-up) session perfects the work by reinforcing pigment, adjusting tone if needed, and making any fine-tuning changes once your skin has fully healed.
Touch-up appointments should be scheduled 6–8 weeks after your initial session, depending on how your skin heals. Waiting longer than 8 weeks may result in additional fees, as the area begins to retain pigment differently over time.
If you miss or cancel your touch-up appointment without proper notice, you’ll be required to book a new session at the current touch-up rate.
Please keep in mind that results vary based on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare, and additional sessions may be recommended for certain skin conditions or retention challenges.
We take this process seriously because it’s how we guarantee long-lasting, natural, and stunning results — and we want you to love your healed look every single day 🖤
Please plan to arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to the start of your appointment. This gives you time to get comfortable and settled before your service begins.
Directions to the Studio:
The easiest way to access our office is from Poplar Level Road.
Turn right into the 1448 Gardiner Lane Offices parking lot — you’ll see KFC Yum! on your left.
If you’re coming from Newburg Road, turn onto Bishop Lane and go straight through the stop sign (you’ll see Cross Jeep on your right). Then turn into 1448 Gardiner Lane, Suite 103 — KFC Yum! will be on your right.
Please note: arriving late directly affects the amount of time your artist has to complete your procedure, which can compromise the quality of your results.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be cancelled, and the full service fee will still apply, as this time cannot be rebooked or sold to another client.
Obviously, we understand that traffic and life happen — just keep in touch with us if you’re running behind. Communication helps us plan the day and do our best to still accommodate you whenever possible 🖤
Though it is extremely rare, we reserve the right to refuse treatment for the following
reasons. The full service fee will still apply, as we are not able to sell this time to another
client.
- Undisclosed skin condition (including sunburn/suntan)
- Using Retin-A & Skin care products\Under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Any behavior which, in the opinion of the artist , might compromise the artist’s ability
to work safely and comfortably toward the desired results, or might disrupt other
clients. - Being Rude & Nasty. This does not happen very often because who would be rude
& nasty to the artist whom you want to tattoo your face? However, if this does
happen the artist reserves the right to dismiss the client. All efforts will be made to
rectify the situation, but if artist feels it has gone to far or that the client can not be
made happy. The artist has the right to refuse treatment.
