What is saline removal?
A specialized, all-natural saline solution is implanted over your existing permanent makeup or small tattoo. The solution contains finely milled sea salt, purified water, lemon seed extract, orange seed extract, and aloe. Implanting the solution into the skin breaks up the healed pigment, and begins to lift the pigment out of the skin by osmosis. The pigment is slowly pulled to the surface of the skin and heals into a scab. When the scab falls off, that pigment falls off with it, leaving a lightened tattoo. This removal technique is safe for all skin types. The salt/saline tattoo removal is safer than laser tattoo removal and has fewer risks of hypo/hyperpigmentation, blistering, and scarring than the laser removal treatments. The skin may be re-tattooed once the area has sufficiently healed
What to expect?
Clients should expect three to four procedures before they see desired results. Procedures are done 5-6 weeks apart. How many sessions needed depends the type of ink that was used, the age of the tattoo and the integrity of your skin. With this method of tattoo removal, clients can expect the eyebrow tattoo to become lighter, but a full removal should not be expected.
What is osmosis?
os-mo-sis
/äzˈmōsəs/
A process by which molecules of a solvent tend to pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one, thus equalizing the concentrations on each side of the membrane.

Saline Tattoo Removal is the best option if you’re seeking for a less invasive way to get rid of undesirable cosmetic tattoos and body art.
When it comes to removing pigment, saline is a better option than laser treatment, which can’t detect some pigmentation.
– Unlike laser, saline removal is not color-specific, so you might have more success treating colours that are frequently difficult to remove (red, orange, yellow, pale blue and white).
– Saline removal truly removes ink from the body, as opposed to methods like laser removal that may push pigment deeper into the skin and break ink into smaller fragments, which are subsequently handled by the lymphatic system.
– Once it has healed, you can easily acquire another tattoo/tattoos in the same location, which may not be possible if you use procedures like surgical removal or if laser treatments leave a scar issue behind.

This can take 8-10 weeks for saline, and at least 6 weeks or longer for laser. A scab will form over the area treated with either treatment type, and it can take a few weeks to heal. It is important to take care of your skin afterwards. Proper information is provided for our patients upon completion of the treatment by your artist. This ensures your experience is perfect.
