Are you looking for a Lip Tattoo also known as Lip Blushing.
The Brow Babe who has been trained in the Newest Techniques for Full, Youthful Lips That Require No Maintenance.
We can define the lips a lot more and give them overall a prettier tone, which gives them a more plump and fuller look. It also helps evening out the vermilion boarder of the lips to fix any small asymmetry you may have.
The technique and color choices I make create a natural, blushed or “just bitten” look to the lips. The technique uses a small needle and works softly on the lips to very gently implant the color without creating too heavy of a lip-liner/border appearance. My overall is to give your lips LIFE life without being too dramatic.
Searching for a A Lip Tattoo does not have to be scary! You are numb the entire time and a lot of clients tend to fall asleep. There are different methods used to create a unique Lip tattoo for each individual client.
Aquarelle lips: which creates a light blushing tint
Candy lips: Bolder heavier more like a lipstick
Pre Care lip tattoo
Lips Pre Care
- To avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit Valid for ALL SERVICES
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine 1 day before procedure to minimize any oozing, bleeding or swelling.
- Do not take an aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief (this thins the blood)
- Retinol/Retin-A must be discontinued 7 days prior to procedure. (causes the skin to bleed)
- Do not use any facial toners, or cleansers.
- Injections such as neuromodulators & Fillers
- must be done 4 weeks before or 4 weeks after.
- Chemical peels and laser treatments may not be done within 60 days before or after procedure.
- The use of Latisse® must be discontinued at least 3 months prior to your eyeliner procedure (it creates an inflammatory response, causes excess bleeding and prohibits the eyeliner from healing well).
- Sunburned or Suntanned skin is damaged skin and therefore will cause excessive bleeding. We CANNOT work on sunburned or suntanned skin.
- You cannot expose the area to the sun for 30 days before or after procedure.
- Do not schedule this procedure within one week prior to a water vacation.
- Stay out of steam rooms, saunas, hot yoga, swimming pool, etc. for one week following procedure.
- Avoid working out or sweating for 1 week post procedure. (sweat will prevent pigment from healing into the skin and we remove tattoos with saline, sweat is saline.)
- Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, fish oil or vitamin E 3 days prior to procedure unless medically necessary.
- Avoid makeup on pigmented area for five days, including non-allergenic makeup. If you MUST wear makeup apply it around the area with clean fingers. Brushes and Blenders Harbor Bacteria. That is an infection waiting to happen.
If you’ve never had micro-pigmentation before, there are a lot of unknowns. One of the most common questions we’re asked is what to expect during the healing process. While every person is different and some heal more quickly or slowly than others, here’s generally what to expect. Temporary side effects from micro-pigmentation include but are not limited to: redness, swelling, puffiness, bruising, dry patches and tenderness. You should expect to lose approximately 1/3 of the initial color during the healing process. We have selected the optimal pigments for you with this in mind. In approximately six days it may appear too light. After about 10 days, the color will show more. It will appear softer when completely healed.
- Do not tan two weeks prior or have sunburned face
- Do not have any type of facial/peel 2 weeks prior to treatment
- Discontinue Vitamin A/Retinol products ASAP
- Do not work out the day of the procedure.
- Do not have lip fillers 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after
- Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior (natural blood thinners)
- History of Cold Sores? Start taking Antivirals or OTC Lysine
- Begin taking it No Less than 3 days before procedure. I suggest a week or two if you can. Lip Blushing causes trauma to the skin which sometimes can aggravate cold sores
- Lip Fillers? Please wait at least 4 weeks from the time of your injections. Also it is advised to wait to have injections for at least 4 weeks after Lip Blushing, to give them time to heal.
- HYDRATE EXFOLIATE HYDRATE!! In the Days leading up to your appointment
- Lip Masks are AMAZING
- Sugar Scrubs. Jump on pinterest and find a Lip Sugar Scrub that you like!
- Tooth Brush to the Lips helps Exfoliate dry areas.
- Please be aware that having a procedure done while on your menstrual cycle can make you hypersensitive at the procedure site

Aftercare Lips tattoo
Lips Aftercare
Day 0
● Apply ice for the first 2-24 hours to reduce swelling.
● Week 1+
○ Keep moist with Aquaphor for the next 3-4 days, and then switch to lip balm
or lipstick with an SPF of 15 or greater as the sun tends to fade lip color
quickly.
○ Lips may appear to have too much color in the days following the
procedure.
○ You may add makeup to soften the color.
○ Scars on the lips from fever blisters cause pigment removal.
○ Be careful as you pull on shirts or other garments over your face that you
don’t brush the new tattoo accidentally. Also, don’t put any makeup on after
treatment. You might cause an infection or otherwise damage the tattoo.
○ Avoid biting or licking your lips as much as possible, and make sure no food
or drink stays on there.
○ Avoid Contact with Clothing, Makeup, Food and Sunlight.
○ Drink out of Straws
○ Take care not to expose your face to the sun for about two weeks after you
get your tattoo. The sun will fade the pigment, which is still settling into your
skin. Even after the tattoos have healed, be consistent with applying
sunscreen to those areas of your face, to avoid fading.
○ If you get cold sores or have ever had one in the past, you will need an
antiviral prescription from your doctor before a lip procedure. Or Lysine
which is sold over the counter. I suggest starting it As soon as you book,
unless its months out.
○ Lips can take 1-3 treatments for desired depth of color.
○ Keeping lips moist daily will lengthen the time the pigment will
last…everyone heals different.
What to expect During Healing (Lips)
● Day 1
○ Swelling, tender, heavy thick lipstick look with a reddish brick color
affect. For the first few days, the color is darker than it will appear when
healed.
● Day 2
○ Slight swelling, reddish and tender with a slight metallic flavor.
● Day 3
○ Less swelling, thicker texture, sore, hot feeling before exfoliation with an
orange color affect.
● Day 4
○ Exfoliation begins, very chapped lips. The color will become lighter as the
epidermis sloughs off. It will appear that you have lost all of your color,
however, when your lips have healed completely, the dermal layer will
gradually become darker.
● Day 5
○ Very chapped but almost finished with first chapping stage.
● Day 6
○ A soft rich color begins to appear.
● Days 7-13
○ Lip color disappears and the “frosty” chapping stage begins as a
whitish/grayish haze on the lips.
● Day 14
○ Color blooms from within more and more each day until day 21.(3 weeks)
● Day 21
○ Healing complete; the color you see is the color you have. Your lips will
remain a bit dry for a month or two, use a good lip balm and they will return
to normal, but with full color!
○ If a crust/scab appears on the pigmented surface,
DO NOT FORCE
THE REMOVAL BY PICKING, SCRATCHING, OR WASHING!!!
PIGMENT
MAY BE REMOVED ALONG WITH THE CRUST!!!
