Also, don’t put any makeup on aftertreatment. You might cause an infection or otherwise damage the tattoo.○ Avoid biting or licking your lips as much as possible, and make sure no foodor drink stays on there.○ Avoid Contact with Clothing, Makeup, Food and Sunlight.○ Drink out of Straws○ Take care not to expose your face to the sun for about two weeks after youget your tattoo. The sun will fade the pigment, which is still settling into yourskin. Even after the tattoos have healed, be consistent with applyingsunscreen to those areas of your face, to avoid fading.○ If you get cold sores or have ever had one in the past, you will need anantiviral prescription from your doctor before a lip procedure. What to expect During Healing (Lips)● Day 1○ Swelling, tender, heavy thick lipstick look with a reddish brick coloraffect. For the first few days, the color is darker than it will appear whenhealed.● Day 2○ Slight swelling, reddish and tender with a slight metallic flavor.● Day 3○ Less swelling, thicker texture, sore, hot feeling before exfoliation with anorange color affect.● Day 4○ Exfoliation begins, very chapped lips. The color will become lighter as theepidermis sloughs off. It will appear that you have lost all of your color, however, when your lips have healed completely, the dermal layer willgradually become darker.● Day 5○ Very chapped but almost finished with first chapping stage.● Day 6○ A soft rich color begins to appear.● Days 7-13○ Lip color disappears and the “frosty” chapping stage begins as awhitish/grayish haze on the lips.● Day 14○ Color blooms from within more and more each day until day 21.(3 weeks)● Day 21○ Healing complete; the color you see is the color you have. Your lips willremain a bit dry for a month or two, use a good lip balm and they will returnto normal, but with full color!○ If a crust/scab appears on the pigmented surface,
